Lisa. I agree with this statement. Not feeling loved- that IS the core of
being stuck. F eeling bad, not having the ability, clarity to move forward. The pain is intertwined so tightly, there is absolutely no light to see.
Your words speak the absolute truth about love. Until you do the work to find out what ails you, what is causing so much distress- it is pointless. Like putting a band aid over an amputated arm. At least that has been my experience. I do not come from the school of just get over it, move on. I had to go back to the original sin so to speak. Even, and especially if it wasn't mine! I have had to do that for my own sanity and the health of my family, my children. They deserve
to experience a rebirth, a new way of life that perhaps myself, siblings hubby were here to learn and overcome. it is a constant rebirthing process for me. Love.... it takes many forms. To find purity, the myth to think that it is all wrapped up in a pretty package immediately. Only makes a person feel worse. It is anger and heartache and release . Tears and frustration that turn to gratitude and joy. It is a roller coaster process. Until the release takes place, on the most primal, base level- I have not been able to FUULY move forward and embrace the ME that I know I truly am. It is happening only through tremendous willingness. Many tears, VERY long ,dark nights o' my soul. Stripping me to the bone, so to speak. That is not for everyone, that has just been the only way I have known how to do this stuff. Your writing as I said, speaks clearly to all of that to me, and more. Without complications. No fancy worded bullshit. That, Lisa, kept me in a darkened room- the bullshit,,,, praying for death nightly. Your words are profound, as are you. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know REAL.
