The Magnolia and The Woman

I remember this morning so clearly.  I felt like a child as I ran with my camera from tree to tree thrilled and in awe of every single blossom that I saw.  It was as if overnight the magical and mystical giant Magnolia blossoms were in bloom...as if they knew their essence would be captured in the morning.  Little did I know my own would be captured as well.  I picked a Magnolia to bring it inside to enjoy and as I was walking around to the studio side of my home I looked ahead into the gym window and was struck again in an entirely different way -- by my own image --along with St. Fiacre standing behind me in the grass.  I saw the gym equipment of this century and I too saw the ancient time within me…all merged into the moment.  I think the mysticism of the Magnolia became one with that of the Woman.  I feel the image captures the essence a realistic mystic…who is one with this time as well as one with the Divine.   I captured the image but feel it is not my own, entirely but that of the one who created the Magnolia…The woman and the Magnolia came together as one with the presence of joy and awe and total reverence for Nature and its cause.  Lisa Blackman
